A new build Entrance building is to be provided to form a focal entry point to the school. The new building is to be centralised in between two existing buildings of the existing Lower Preparatory building which created its own challenges. The new Entrance will provide a welcoming reception area and library/learning space plus staff support areas. Motorised roof turrets are being utilised to naturally ventilate the proposed new learning resource and library space. IES modelling has been completed to ensure compliance with standards and to ensure comfort of occupants all year round. Project due for handover in March 2020.
